Archea Olympia

This is believed to be humanity's first functioning robot! I am not sure exactly how it works but it uses steam power to move the robot's arm so it can pour liquid into the cup it's holding. Unfortunately the museum did not display the robot in action, but it is absolutely mind blowing to think that the ancient Greeks who lived so long ago were such geniuses! This is one reason why I find their culture so fascinating to study, because they were so ahead of their time!
